Call for Poster Abstracts

Abstracts are now being accepted for both oral and poster presentations for the next Royal Meteorological Society Student Conference under the theme Evolution of Science: past, present and future.

We welcome submissions from all early career scientists, including undergraduate students, postgraduate students and other young scientists working inside or outside an academic context. We invite posters and presentations on as broad a range of topics as possible, so long as they are in some way related to meteorology and associated sciences such as atmospheric chemistry, atmospheric physics, science communication and engineering. Your abstract has to only loosely fit this year’s theme of Evolution of Science: past, present and future.

If you are just starting out in your project we welcome abstracts that are just a summary of the project, such as the motivation and aims. This is a great opportunity to practice presenting your work and also begin to meet people who may be working in similar fields even if you do not have many results yet.

The call for papers for posters is now closed.

If you have any queries, please contact the conference department

To help the Conference Organising Committee arrange the program we ask you to include 3-5 key words at the end of the abstract. Examples are given in the downloadable PDF but feel free to use ones that you feel best summarise your work.

Details of what makes a good abstract can also be found in the Guidelines for abstracts.
