An evening for the UK climate adaptation community to network, share news and ideas, and discuss climate services.

Join us in Leeds on November 27th for an evening of climate services, ethics, and networking. Throughout the evening, we'll be exploring ethical questions in climate services from a diverse range of speakers with public, academic, and private climate service perspectives. A round of lightning talks will introduce you to the ethical questions and dilemmas, exploring questions such as how should climate services be regulated, if at all, and who gets to decide? How do you ethically convey complex information to a non-expert audience without unintended consequences? How can we best consider vulnerable populations when conducting work in climate adaptation? What ethical issues are inherent in sustainable development, and how best can we mitigate these issues for future generations?

The rest of the evening will be dedicated to networking for the UK climate adaptation community, catered with canapés and drinks. MESH events provide a space where anyone based in the UK working on climate services (in the UK or internationally) can get together, share news, and discover what is happening on the forefront of the field. Join us for a stimulating evening at MESH Leeds on Wednesday, November 27th from 5:00 to 7:30 pm.
