ABSTRACT| When analysing data in the Earth Sciences it is often necessary to compare an observation of a physical quantity with its representation in a different form. This process results in a representation uncertainty which is often difficult to evaluate.
Sponsored by the NCEO, the objective of this workshop is to determine how representation uncertainty is defined and quantified across the Earth science communities.
