Current Employment:
Senior Scientist at Biral (since 2011), developing novel weather monitoring instrumentation and providing meteorological expertise to the company and our customers. I am also a Visiting Research Fellow at the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Bath.
Recent work:
Research scientist with the Met Office in ground-based remote sensing (2007-2011). My role involved analysis of observational data from cloud radar, wind profiling radar, lidar, microwave radiometer and radiosonde, with an emphasis on R&D of the Met Office lightning location network (ATDnet). Manager of the Met Office passive remote sensing R&D team for one year.
