DIRECTIONS

Lecture Location - Edinburgh

Our Edinburgh lectures take place at the Institute of Geography at the University of Edinburgh, Drummond Street, Edinburgh. The talks start prompt at 6pm, but tea and biscuits are served from 5.30pm in the common room. Please note there is no access to the building after 6pm.

For a map, click here. Car parking in the area is limited and either by permit only or metered, see Parkopedia for details. (If you're driving, please remember the new 20mph limit throughout much of the city!)

We recommend using public transport to reach us, as the Institute of Geography is a 5-10 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley train station. Alternatively, Lothian Buses have a number of routes stopping nearby that all go via the city centre: 3, 5, 7, 8, 14, 29, 30, 31, 33, 35, 37, 45, 49.

Lecture Location - Inverness

Our Inverness lectures are held in Inverness College UHI, 1 Inverness Campus, IV2 5NA. The talk starts at 7pm, but refreshments are served from 6.30pm.

The talk may also be broadcast to other UHI venues via UHI's video conferencing technology, making it possible to hear the talk and participate in the discussion afterwards from another UHI venue (see http://www.uhi.ac.uk/en/campuses for venues).
